Beit Ruth Launches New STEM Curriculum

At the Beit Ruth Gala in May 2025, we announced our intention to design and launch a new initiative focusing on STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Teaching STEM to girls can significantly empower them by providing them with valuable skills, boosting their confidence and sense of accomplishment, and ultimately allowing them to believe in their ability to consider and pursue new career opportunities.

Our girls and young women will benefit from our newly launched STEM Initiative which includes robotics, computer programming, and tech literacy for competitive edge, including in an AI landscape. This will drive economic empowerment by elevating students’ employability within Israel’s economy. It also includes a newly designed interactive “Classroom of the Future,” called the ImagineBox, enhancing computer skills and partnerships with high-tech companies.

Thanks to Beit Ruth’s community of champions, partners, and supporters — and to everyone who supported Beit Ruth at our Gala — our STEM Initiative launch is in full swing — in just seven months.

The STEM Initiative complements our already intensive education, critical counseling, and wide range of therapeutic enrichment activities.

And now, Beit Ruth’s STEM Initiative will empower our girls by opening new opportunities and preparing them for roles in the workforce and the IDF they could not have imagined before.
