Honoring the Life, Vision, and Legacy of Our Beloved Founder, Susan Ashner
Two years ago on September 18, 2024, we lost Susan Ashner, Beit Ruth's beloved founder and 'North Star.'
Susan dreamed of creating a safe and nurturing home giving girls who'd suffered abuse and neglect the opportunities, education, and LOVE to heal, to break cycles of violence, see they are worthy and capable of reaching their dreams, and claim better lives.
In Beit Ruth, she made that dream real.
Today, we are not only keeping Susan's legacy alive, we are building on it.
This week in the Beit Ruth Village, to mark two years since Susan's passing, our girls and young women learned about Susan and the dream that became their home. They gathered in the Imagination Lab STEM classroom dedicated in her honor, they created artwork and placed it beneath the tree planted in Susan’s memory by her beloved husband and Beit Ruth co-founder, Michael Ashner.
