Alumnae Day in the Village
Alumnae Day in the Village
It was wonderful to host another Alumnae Day at Beit Ruth! The occasion took place on January 30 at the Village, and 30 of our alumnae ages 19 to 30 joined us.
When our alumnae come to the Village, they become role models for all our girls there. To see our alumnae, who were once so vulnerable, mentor the girls in the Village is such an inspiring testament to the power of Beit Ruth and the transformational journey that each girl takes when she comes through the Village doors.
Beit Ruth staff also met with the girls in roundtable discussions. The first centered on the theme of female empowerment, and the other was an open dialogue to help Beit Ruth strengthen our alumnae program and the constant connection and services available to all our girls.
What a gift that our alumnae could join us, and we look forward to many more days.
In early 2025, Beit Ruth welcomed Yael Altman, our new Alumnae Program Manager. Yael will be key to helping Beit Ruth meet the evolving needs of our 400+ alumnae. Yael comes to us with years of experience developing strategies and creating collaborations to empower young adults and their communities. She also spends part of her time working at Beit Ruth’s Center of Knowledge.
