In May 2022, Beit Ruth completed construction on two new residential houses, bringing us halfway toward our long-term plan of 10 houses in the Village and providing onsite comprehensive care and education to approximately 200 girls in any given year. Each residential house is a home for 12-15 at-risk and vulnerable girls at a time. These two new houses increased our capacity to provide lifesaving care and an education to approximately 72 girls each year. By expanding the resources of the Village, we will save so many lives.

Each two-story, modern residential house includes 5 bedrooms, rooms for overnight House Counselors, a Social Worker’s office, a communal living room, a laundry room and bathrooms, a safe room, and a dining area and spacious kitchen. The homes are surrounded by flower gardens and covered patios.

Every new home within the Beit Ruth Village widens our safety net, ensuring more girls aren’t living on the streets or within abusive families. As we grow, more girls will receive an education and develop life skills that lead to economic and emotional empowerment, and that will help to break the cycle of violence for our girls and for future generations.

With ongoing investments from our friends and supporters, we will continue to make operational, capital, and programmatic strides that will increase our impact in saving and transforming the lives of vulnerable and at-risk girls.
