What's New at Beit Ruth?
Beit Ruth is proud to announce the inauguration of our new Horticulture and Garden Therapy program!
Guided by a horticultural therapist working in cooperation with Beit Ruth staff, the girls develop hands-on skills associated with plant care while learning about the environment, agriculture, and sustainability.
Horticulture Therapy is a unique and innovative therapeutic approach that involves the purposeful use of plants, horticultural activities, and garden environments to promote cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and psychological well-being for an individual or group. Horticulture therapy has been shown to be beneficial in a variety of healthcare, residential, educational, and rehabilitative settings. Beit Ruth has a beautiful organic fruit, vegetable, and flower garden with crops including lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, mango, banana, strawberries, and many more!
