| |  | | | | Two years ago, the Jaffa Institute established the first Beit Ruth Hostel in a beautiful neighborhood in the city of Rishon Letzion. The hostel is the first stage towards establishing the holistic, wider-reaching Beit Ruth Village . The Beit Ruth hostel accommodates 12 girls who are full time residents and students. A professional staff manages the Hostel 24 hours a day as the girls receive a complete, approved, educational program on Hostel premises. Beit Ruth provides a safe, warm, and home-like atmosphere that gives each girl the opportunity to grow and flourish Due to the evident successes and unique empowerment program of the Beit Ruth Hostel, many Israeli social workers monitoring at-risk girls throughout Israel have approached us to accept their distressed young women. This situation is a direct result of the lack of government funds for programs to accommodate the rising number of girls at-risk each year. Beit Ruth currently has more than 80 girls on its waiting list.

| | Each and every one of the girls residing at Beit Ruth has a story to tell. Stories of neglect, violence, terror and mainly a deep hunger for love and normalcy are laced into each life story. | | At any given moment there is a waiting list of no less then fifty girls who are desperately in need of out-of-home placement. We receive at least four applications a week; unfortunately, Beit Ruth can accommodate no more than twelve girls at any one time.
